Reason to Kill found life early 2005. In December 2006 RTK released 8 tracks of hardhitting metal core entitled ‘Renewing the Chapter’. With this album released in March 2007, and a lot of positive feedback, followed by a Brazilian tour in April ’07, RTK proved to be up to the challenge of becoming something big.

2007 saw two line up changes; Koen(drums) and Geert (Bass) joined the band. With their EP ‘Holographic Memories‘ released in October 2008 the band supported French Metalheads Dagoba on their Dutch tour gigs. After a mini tour in the UK, they toured Brasil for the second time in April 2009.

In June 2009 Reason to Kill won the biggest Dutch based band competition; Wacken Metal Battle. This resulted in a kick ass performance on Europe’s biggest metal open air festival: WACKEN OPEN AIR.

2011 sees the release of the long awaited Full length debut release Facing Forward. With this new release coming, the band has gained a solid ground to maintain their live reputation, and blow your mind at their live shows.
